Kyle Wynn
Owner/Director
Kyle Wynn is a Jacksonville native where he began his dance training at the age of seven. He has studied tap, jazz, modern, ballet, contemporary, acrobatics and hip hop. Growing up, he performed at many local events and in various stage productions including the First Coast Nutcracker, events at Walt Disney World, the Wild Adventures Summer Concert Series, the Jacksonville Landing, and the Toyota Gator Bowl Pre-Game Show. While attending Jacksonville University, he got the opportunity to work with many notable choreographers such as Christian Von Howard, Jennifer Muller, Kiki Ely, Twyla Tharp, and David Parsons.
Professional dance credits include the 2005 Superbowl Halftime Show, The Miss Florida Pageant, and Royal Caribbean International among others. He joined the Bravo Faculty in 2013 and went on to become co-owner/director in 2020. Kyle is ecstatic to be in his new role and can't wait to see what the coming years have in store. 1, 2, 3, BRAVO!
Gabriella Bortoleto
Gabriella, a Florida native, began her dance journey at the Orlando International School of Dance, where she dedicated her formative years to the art, training in Cuban Ballet Technique and various styles including contemporary, jazz, and modern. As a former competitive dancer, Gabriella has attended numerous events that helped shape her passion for all styles of dance. In 2022, her talent led her to the World Ballet Competition, where she earned a full scholarship to The School of Ballet Theatre UK in England. During her time as a second company member with Ballet Theatre UK, Gabriella embraced various soloist roles in productions such as Who Cares?, Romeo and Juliet, and Coppélia.
Now back in Florida, she was recently invited to guest artist with Central Florida Ballet as a soloist in their Nutcracker and has worked as a freelance dancer, teacher, and choreographer for the Orlando International School of Dance and their competitive company. Gabriella has recently accepted a position with The Florida Ballet and relocated to Jacksonville to continue her passionate career in ballet.
She has loved her first season at Bravo School of Dance and is incredibly thankful for the warm welcome she has received from the community. Gabriella is excited for many more seasons to come at Bravo, where she looks forward to continuing to share her passion while teaching and coaching the next generation of artists.
Lenna Caraway
Ms. Lenna began her dance training at the age of 3 at Bean School of Dance in Fernandina Beach, FL, where her mother was a dance instructor. During her time at Bean School of Dance, she earned several awards, including solo distinctions, at various dance competitions across Florida and Georgia. Upon graduating from Fernandina Beach High School, Ms. Lenna continued her dance education as a member of the Florida Community College Dance Repertoire Company, where she received a full scholarship. Under the guidance of renowned instructors Linda Jenkins and Rosemary Fletcher, Ms. Lenna refined her skills and was selected as a principal dancer for a piece choreographed by Wes Veldink. She also had the honor of performing at the American College Dance Festival in Miami, FL.
Throughout her career, Ms. Lenna has expanded her training through trips to New York City, where she studied under Frank Hatchett and Sheila Barker. In 2001, Ms. Lenna discovered her passion for teaching and choreography, leading her to begin teaching at Bean School of Dance. Currently, she serves as the Dance Director and Instructor at The Vibe Dance. Ms. Lenna is thrilled to be joining Bravo School of Dance and looks forward to the exciting opportunities the upcoming season will bring.
Keiara Hatten
Keiara was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. When Keiara was young, she used to dance to Beyoncé and Ciara music videos as entertainment when she was on punishment. The enjoyment from dancing to the music videos is where her passion and curiosity for different types of dances started. Keiara has trained at Bravo school of dance as a student for 10 years, where she found her main interest in Hip Hop, Tap, and Jazz. At 18, she constantly subbed classes which helped her teaching skills with dance students. She then became an instructor at the age of 19. She graduated with her diploma from Sandalwood High school and FSCJ with her AA at 17. She is now currently working on her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at the University of North Florida, to one day become a Physical Therapist.
Laura Mauldin
Laura is thrilled to be back at Bravo to mark her twelfth recital with the studio she's proud to call home. She's been a dance and acting instructor for nearly twenty years but is also active in local community theater as a writer, choreographer, and actor. She was most recently seen onstage as Alison in Fun Home at the Limelight Theatre and as Nostradamus in Something Rotten! at Theatre Jacksonville. Laura is also the creator, writer, producer, and star of an original web series called Lemoncurd. The show has been featured on several local media outlets including The Florida Times Union, First Coast Connect with Melissa Ross, River City Live, and EU Jacksonville among others. It was also an official selection at the LOL Film Festival and the Miami Web Fest taking home top awards at both. Faith Norton
Faith Elise Norton is a dedicated dance educator and choreographer based in Jacksonville, Florida. She began her formal dance training at the Jacksonville Centre of the Arts, where she cultivated a strong foundation in classical and contemporary techniques. Faith went on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance Performance from The Boston Conservatory in 2020, where she had the opportunity to perform works by acclaimed choreographers such as Levi Marsman, Jennifer Archibald, Debbie Allen, Otis Sallid, Juel D. Lane, and others. Throughout her training, Faith expanded her artistry by attending prestigious summer intensives, including Alonzo King LINES Ballet, Point Park University, Next Generation Ballet, and the DARC Dance Festival in Paris, France.
Faith began her teaching journey in 2020 at LaVilla School of the Arts. She later became the director of Fletcher Middle School’s dance department, where she developed a strong, technique-driven program rooted in creativity and discipline. She is now the Director of Dance at Global Leadership Academy Arts, continuing to inspire and challenge students through a curriculum that emphasizes excellence, expression, and personal growth.
In addition to her work in the classroom, Faith is the Director of the Summer Conservatory at Jacksonville Centre of the Arts. In this role, she mentors aspiring young dancers and fosters an environment that encourages exploration, confidence, and a deep appreciation for the performing arts.
Faith is thrilled to be joining Bravo School of Dance for the upcoming season. She is excited to work with such a talented group of dancers and is looking forward to the growth, creativity, and opportunities the season will bring.
Hanny Mena-Smith
Hanny grew up in Cuba, where she began her dance training at the age of five. Upon moving to Jacksonville, Hanny continued her dance training at the Florida Ballet Training Center under the direction of Laurie Picinich-Byrd. Hanny has taken the American Ballet Theatre student examination, which she has passed with merits. She has participated in Youth America Grand Prix, both in the Junior and Senior divisions. She also had the opportunity to attend Youth America Grand Prix Finals in New York with an ensemble, performing with many other ballet dancers from around the world. During her summers as a trainee, she took summer intensives with Orlando Ballet and Joffrey Ballet. After graduating from high school, she was accepted into Jacksonville University as a double major in Dance and Biology (Pre-dentistry). While dancing at Jacksonville University, Hanny has had the opportunity to take class from well recognize professionals such as Jennifer Muller and Kristen Gallagher to name a few. Not only has Hanny taught ballet in the public-school programs, but she has also taught ballet to Parkinson Patients during her undergraduate years. Her work with Parkinson Patients was featured on Florida Collegiate Honors council and Florida Times Unions under the direction of Cari Coble. Ms. Hanny is a ABT certified teacher. Currently, she is finishing up her master’s degree at Jacksonville University. She hopes to get her Doctorates soon. Hanny is looking forward to sharing her love and passion with our students.
Emma Smith
Emma has been dancing since the age of 2 at Bravo School of Dance. She trains in all styles of dance and has a passion for contemporary and ballet. Emma is currently a dance student at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. She has participated in many local performances including the First Coast Nutcracker with the Jacksonville Symphony. Emma is also an apprentice with the pre-professional dance training program, Dancelook, and is a senior member of Bravo’s competition team. She enjoys taking dance classes at workshops, doing makeup and spending time with her friends and family.
Michaela Pariseau
Michaela Pariseau's dance journey began in Connecticut, where she trained extensively in acrobatics, ballet, lyrical, tap, and jazz. She further honed her skills on the college dance team at St. John’s University in New York City, where she danced for four years and served as captain in her senior year. While in NYC, Michaela also taught private acrobatic lessons and group classes for Prime Time Tumbling.
After college, Michaela danced professionally for the NBA’s Washington Wizards for five seasons. During her tenure with the Wizards, she was honored as a member of the 2014 All-Star Dance Team, performing alongside artists such as Pharrell Williams and Vanilla Ice. Her career also included international tours to China and Brazil, and she led the team as Captain.
Post-NBA, Michaela has dedicated herself to teaching various styles of dance and fitness, as well as choreographing in the Washington D.C. and Jacksonville, FL areas. She currently resides in Jacksonville with her husband and two daughters.
Makenna Stanley
Makenna Stanley was born and raised in Litchfield County, Connecticut, where she began dancing at the age of three and started competing at five. Her early passion for dance led her to become a student helper in classes, eventually teaching conditioning and technique classes by the age of 17. Makenna is well-versed in various dance genres, including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and contemporary, with a particular fondness for acrobatics.
A lover of sunshine and the beach, Makenna moved to Tampa, Florida, to attend the University of Tampa. There, she continued her dance journey as a member of the Spartan Scarlets Dance Team. The Scarlets supported their fellow student-athletes at games, performed at campus and city events, and competed in the NDA College Nationals. During her college dance career, Makenna earned the “Rookie of the Year” and “Most Improved” awards.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Makenna taught beginner acro classes at a local Tampa studio in 2019-2020. She also auditioned for The Roar of the Jaguars NFL Cheer Team in 2023, advancing to the final round of auditions. Her dedication to fitness and a healthy lifestyle led her to obtain her NASM Personal Training certification.
Outside of the studio, Makenna enjoys spending time with her family and friends, training at the gym, and relaxing at the beach with her golden doodle, Theo.
