Meet our Staff

Elizabeth Concilla

ecElizabeth Concilla has been dancing for over 17 years.  She began her training at BalletMet in Columbus Ohio, where she joined the pre-professional program at the age of 14, where she spent 25 hours a week studying classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Afro-caribbean.  At 15 she joined Youth Met, the studios traveling youth company, where she had many opportunities to perform throughout the community, and learn repertoire by Maurice Hines, Dwight Rhoden, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.  Elizabeth recently graduated from Jacksonville University with her BFA in dance performance, and a BS in psychology.  During her time at JU, Elizabeth Had many opportunities performing on and off campus.  In 2010 she traveled with a group of dancers to Curaçao where they taught various classes, and preformed eight original pieces including a duet choreographed by Elizabeth.  She also had the privilege of performing twice at the American College Dance Festival, and various community events throughout Jacksonville.  Elizabeth has attended multiple summer workshops including intensives at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Steps on Broadway, Virginia School of the Arts, and The American Ballet Theatre.  Elizabeth is looking forward to working with children in the furture as she hopes to gain her masters in school psychology.
